First off, did you get the right search engine optimization done on our site?  Check what SEO is about and there are many online resources about it.  But if you had a seasoned web developer do it for you, he or she should have known about it.

After you have your website search-optimized, promote it further by getting  onto the social networking bandwagon with a Facebook or Twitter account, Better yet, get into both and promote your site.  Always remember that just like any product or services, online or otherwise, you need to do some marketing and advertising to create awareness about your website.
